I haven't followed Nomi, but irregardless, having been married for 52 years myself, I can only imagine the emptiness that he must be feeling right now. Your poem was so touching gal. I too hope that God will comfort him and his family in this time of great loss. Thanks so much for sharing this gal.

Hi Helen,
is your husband dealing with a health issue? We can always pray for him. Age has a tendency to take a toll on us. 43 years is still a long time to be married, and it's a testament to those who know you. Too many people want to give up on marriage after a short time, forgetting that it's a covenant. We become one the longer we stay together, be that for better or worse.

After fifty plus years of marriage, Nolan and Yvonne traveled through good, bad, and difficult times, always together, as God guided their steps.
I did not know them personally, but I know it takes undying love to build a life together that many years.
It saddens me to imagine what Nolan might be feeling. Thank you Helen, for your beautiful, poetic tribute to their love and your prayer for God's comfort.

I did not know them personally, but I know it takes undying love to build a life together that many years.

You're always welcome. I've not seen any of his works, but I've seen numerous chapters to the dedication to his wife that involved many authors. It is obvious he is well liked. I'll see if I can find him and read some of his writing. Have a wonderful day.

It is always a sad day we hen dear ones die. However may Nolan be comforted in the gift of the resurrection power. I do not know your belief, but I know as a Christian I you also believe in the gift of life through Christ. I joint you in prayer for Nolan to be comforted.
