Yes, that is so, but tit's still a fun limerick and the image adds to the humour. Well written. Best wishes for the contest.

Hello!
Just checking in on the limericks! I do get a little stuck reviewing short poetry. I'm not exactly sure what to say about them other than they are good or something is wrong. I will say that I have never read or heard about a witch named "Mick." Whenever I think of that name, I think of Rocky Balboa's trainer or Crocodile Dundee! *laughs*
Anyway, good luck in the contest!

This limerick, Showoff Witch, has the proper formatting and shows the readers that trying to strut your stuff too much can lead to a witching hour brought by some witches.

This limerick made me smile. You got the suggested syllable counts right, and the poem itself was fun. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Trumpian Limerick Fan Story
there once was madman named Trump
Trump loved to sit on his fat rump
He was a wild man

in the end toxic waste dump

Hi Jake, I am not into Trump bashing.
Thanks for the kind comments for my limerick.

Just in time for Halloween, you've written the perfect limerick. The pace, flow, and rhythm add to the enjoyment of the story, un-effected by the stress syllable of the last line. This is humorous and well done. Best wishes in the contest.

To me, it doesn't matter if the stressed syllable is in the wrong place. It flows smoothly off the tongue as poems are supposed to do. Young witches and old hags--how can you go wrong with that when Halloween is around the corner?=_
