This is an excellent poem, and it reveals love in its most fundamental aspect, that of a family, it's amazing that from us comes a whole new line of human beings for generations to come, and as scripture says for a thousand generations, beautifully written Beth, blessings Roy

Oh, I like this one, Beth! It shows that love comes already installed and ready to go in our makeup, so when it turns bad - we need to look at ourselves not point the finger at others. Loved the poem!

With so much hate in the world around us, I really appreciated your last two lines: It is important we should try to hold it close so it can't die.
It will die if we don't nurture it.
