I like how Phoebus and Diantha meet. It reminds me a lot of how Anthos/Theo meet where he took such good care of Echo, feeding her. I would have thought White Lightning's real name was Perseverance but that's given to Echo. Lol.
Typo:
"Who? Wilson, my finace? (fiance)

Hi Helen!!!
Thank you so much for the review and comments!! Yes, the meeting is very similar, which will be addressed later, lol. There are some similarities, and you already know the characters, but I made them static in the first book, and you'll see them develop in this one.
Hehe, you're right on Perseverance!!
Thanks for finding the spag!!

What a lovely story, you have a flair for the romantic, but written in the imaginative art of of fantasy, with mythical creatures, so far only a centaur who talks horse, and probably a number of other languages. Your love for horses must have precipitated that, beautifully written Rhonda, blessings Roy
Typo (she) coat was the colour of nutmeg. Her? 2: Wilson , my (finace) fiance?

Hi Roy,
Thank you so much for the lovely review and comments!!
Yes, this book is a bit more romantic than the last one, lol. I'm glad you noticed my love for horses!
Thank you for finding the typos, too.
Take care,

I really love how you build the story of characters as if a part of nature. It's as if nature and the speculative parts in it are a character in themselves. And I got a kick out of how you used the many hats. Oh I'm a doctor, and then what else, "I'm a king." Your story has so much depth.

Hi Stan,
I appreciate you dropping in on the book chapter. I know you followed the first book for a while, so you can see if I've had any growth, so I'm glad for your comment about the depth.
Take care,
Rhonda

This is soooo good. I really enjoyed reading and have a feeling Diantha is going to learn so very much, as I will when I continue reading.

This is a wonderful chapter and so romantic! A lot of mystery solved too and how they are fated to be with each other. In all relationships, things will need to be ironed out. Like the centaur thing and learning to speak horse. Fantastic addition to the book, my talented friend.
Sending you my best today as always, Rhonda dear, and Love & Blessings abundant.

Hi Sally,
Thank you for the lovely six stars and for your comments on the chapter!!
I figured the romance would tickle your fancy. This book will be more romantic that the last.
Yes, there will be little hitches in their relationship, and more are to come, but...
Love and Hugs,
Rhonda

What a wonderful place to "land" when your world is turned upside down, and what a nicer caretaker than Atrius. You've teased us with so many questions but made the reader not want to rush to get there. It's far more enjoyable to drift and learn as we go. Awesome, Rhonda. I loved it!
Smiles and hugs, Carol
Note: "She coat was the color of nutmeg."

Hi Carol,
I really appreciate the time and care you've taken to review this chapter. I know you are a very prolific writer and how much physical time that takes, so what time you spend on me is appreciated.
I would love to find a Concorde Valley, myself, lol. I wouldn't mind an Atrius as well, hehe.
Hugs,
Rhonda

Beautifully told, Rhonda! The section about White Lightning got me really quite emotional as we entered another realm of nature that always becomes so real in your story. Also I enjoyed the further fleshing out of Atrius' character, defining him as a very caring, sensitive and noble character (with impressively handsome looks too - the complete package:)). This chapter helps to explain the background (I'm still a bit worried about Cassie) but also maintain a sense of foreboding that Diantha isn't out of the woods yet (so to speak). Well done, Rhonda! All to play for! Take care Debbie xo

Hi Debbie,
Thank for your the six stars, and for all the comments!!
I'm glad I'm doing a good job fleshing out Atrius as I had him a pretty stagnant character in the first book. Here, we will see how he grows, himself. He still has some things to work out as far as obsession vs relationship, something that got him in trouble with Zeus, though he doesn't remember it.
I will have Cassie and Nutmeg's conditions discussed, probably in the next chapter.
I'm glad the change to the new environment had an affect on you. I really was trying for that passing through a veil, or energy zone thing going.
Thank you for finding the flaws!!!
Hugs,
Rhonda

That was wonderful. I wonder if I could learn to talk horse? If you could send Atrius to me, perhaps... Hmm. This is going to be another wonderful story, Rhonda. I'm wondering if he will one day return to being a man. We'll see. Now, it seems that man was going to kill her, why couldn't her 'fiance' just not propose? You have me filling up with questions now, and I also don't want the answers until I get to the point you'll show us. Loving this, my friend. :) Sandra xxx One little nit below.
So, when will we being (be) going

I'm loving A Sacred Valley. I understand your need to let the protagonist slowly grow into herself and I can't wait to watch this happen. I'm also very fond of Atrius! I think he is every woman's ideal man. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Hi Kahlani,
Thank you so much for the lovely review, my friend. I am trying to take my time on her character development, as well as Atrius', even if his has had more time to percolate, lol.
Again, thank so much,
Rhonda
