Most of my life. I remember getting permission to write all 20 vocabulary words in one sentence instead of 20 sentences. I just could use them in any sort of list.
My writing was pretty crappy until my wife began editing. (smiley face here)

Yes the spousal unit can be our best editors. I think sometimes, however they are a little jaded. That's why I like Fan Story. It gives honest reviews, even bad ones.
Do you ever fight with writers block? My best poems come from inspiration. My favorite form is free verse. It doesn't require a lot of rules. Have a great day.

I have lapses in inspiration, but I don't call it a block. And sometimes it might take a while to figure out how to get out of a predicament.
The best way I've experienced is to go back and edit the last chunk and then I can just continue on.
