I like how you have both Lexington and Frankie sound believable as mafia types and yet we know that they have something trustworthy about them that they can make this transaction work. I wonder if Frank has the diamonds that everyone thinks that Doyle has.

I am so far behind on reviews as I try to finish this story within the deadline and enjoy being with my granddaughters. I have faithfully read and greatly appreciated each review. I am thankful for all the time, comments, and reviews everyone has given to my story. There is no way I can catch up on almost 250 reviews, so please accept my thanks and know that I truly appreciate that you have stuck with me throughout the story. Thank you.

Let's hope Lexington will be trustworthy and will keep his word. But I am curious as to the deal Frank made with him. They will all have to have cool heads and quick thinking over the next few hours. Another fine chapter.

You have more convolutions and twists than a super coaster at Disney land.
Why do I not trust Lexington?
Why is Donatelli being so tough a nut to crack?

Carol,
I hear you my friend. Even the 13 replies in overwhelming. I can't imagine over 250. No doubt you're cross-eyed. You should just do a generic statement and copy and paste, so you can get caught up.

There's a certain honor amongst thieves. I hope it plays out here. I can't wait to find out.

While you take care of that, I've got a few decisions to make. (make.")
" He glanced out the window and turned back, "I'm sorry. Do I know you?" (back.)

Frankie has pulled off a deal with Lexington, and little Maggie will be saved (if the blood is the right kind, of course.) I hope Lexington is able to keep his word about turning Rossi over to Garth. One small fix: "A (deal's) a deal." Good chapter, and good dialogues. Blessings. Carol

Wow, what a thrilling chapter! I love how the tension builds. It really kept me on edge. I love when Garth stepped in to defend Jenna. This story has such emotion and conflict. I'm eager to see how everything unfolds. Fantastic work!
