Bravo and many kudos for the seemingly effortless story you have written with alliteration... I josh when I say effortless because it must have taken a lot of time and thought to put this together, something you appear to be excellent at doing. Well done.

You are as sweet as can be. Yes, it is hard to do, but when I am done the feeling is wonderful. Or, maybe it is just my head has stopped hurting from when I bang it on the desk when I can't find a word. :-) thanks for the read. Karen

As I was reading this, my mind was going back to the Christmas, Carol and Scrooge and his reaction to Christmas. I wish you the very best with your writing and I also wish you a wonderful week. Patricia.

I was feeling sad about some of my not so nice experiences. But, dear heart, I also have a lot of good ones. I love my family. We are quirky. Our Momma loved jokes and saw funny everywhere. She also wrote.
I miss her. Happy Holidays. Karen

You are not half bad yourself. I have competition now.
Really, that was quite good. Thanks for the read, and special nod. Karen

You love your alliteration, and you love those catchy names - this short story has both. Did you find the cartoon before or after you wrote this?
What letter is next, lol?

After. I usually try to use only words starting with the same letter. But, trying that the other day made it clumsy.
It flowed much better with the occasional alien word.
Thanks for the read. And I try to find pictures that effortlessly blend, but nothing exactly fit. So, I went to my standby, humor. Happy Holidays. Karen :-)

Still can't get over how you can tell a story, have it make sense, and keep such wonderful flow using alliteration like this, you are so very clever, very well written and presented****kahpot

You are so good at these, Karen. The best thing about it is that it's not forced, the poem makes complete sense. The picture is hilarious! Very well done, my friend. Warmest hugs, Sandra xxx

That cartoon is horrifyingly humorous! I think I'd be shouting "Spider in the shower" too, if it's not one I can get rid of with just shampoo!
Great job with H-alliteration story poem!

You must have the long searched for alliteration gene. Nobody does it better...
Best yet, your offerings are never a senseless string of words beginning with the same letter.
Nope.
You offer poems or stories with substantive themes and (magically?)
find an eloquent way of weaving it seamlessly together.
Holy Hopping Hippos!
Impressive!

Today's program, children, is brought to you by the letter "H". :-) I love the picture. Reminds of something out of the Far Side or Mad Magazine. Great poem. I don't think I know that many words that begin with "H". You did an outstanding job putting this together. Nice work. Hope you had a fine Thanksgiving. Frank

Get under an electric blanket. Or in front of a fire with a fuzzy blanket. Watch a black and white movie like "Shadow of a Doubt" 1943. A Hitchcock Masterpiece. Karen

Cute cartoon. It is not such a cute situation for Howard. His insensitive relatives have been very obnoxious in his hometown. Now he fears everyone is against him.
