sorrow has a way of robbing us of peace. It's something that each person has to deal with in their own way, and sometimes it takes quite awhile to heal. Thanks for sharing.

The week began hard when the missus entered to feed her dad, but peace arrived as the week moved forward. He is now at rest, and the family has found a way to revel in his life, moving past his death.

Your poem filled with grief and loss express the feelings of many when confronted with the loss of somebody very precious. There is a sense of bewilderment, shock and confusin accompanying that grief, and it's a hard journey of recovery.

I'm so sorry for your loss and the grief that you and your family must deal with now. It's a never-ending presence, but like the ocean waves, it has its high and low tides but never ceases to appear. You did a marvelous job with the poem, but I know it couldn't have been easy.

Thank you, and now I must go and read again the eulogy they have scheduled to give today. I figure if I read it twenty times more I won't deliver it crying like a newly birthed infant being slapped on the backside to celebrate its arrival.
