Bill Hayes, and she also gave a musical - I don't think you need the comma here.
She had been hospitalized the previous day, according to her manager. Henderson died of heart failure. - I'd be inclined to swop the comma and period here.

I didn't know this lady, and I'm not sure The Brady Bunch was shown in the UK, but from this amazing tribute to this great lady, it seems I've missed out. I'll have a look on Google and see if I can bring up some of the Brady classics. She sounds like what she set out to do, she acheived it. That she oftn returned to her roots also shows what type of down to earth lady she was. Thanks for sharing this, Harry. Well done, I very much enjoyed it. Sandra xx

I didn't know this lady, and I'm not sure The Brady Bunch was shown in the UK, but from this amazing tribute to this great lady, it seems I've missed out. What a lovely tribute. I grew up in the 60's and 70's and, while I knew Florence Henderson had had a lengthy career, and possessed a lovely singing voice, like most people of my generation, I will always remember her as Carol Brady. Of course, I do remember her Wesson Oil commercial too.
It's lovely that you delve into her past, both personal and professional, to pay her the respect she's entitled for a life well lived, and for her talent and career. I'm sure there are many people on this site who only know her as Carol Brady, if at all, and this is a wonderful way to introduce them to her career, and to some film titles they may want to look up.

This is a nice refreshing story about Florence Henderson. I remember the Brady Bunch well. I guess i'm telling my age. Ha, Ha. I didn't realized she did other things prior to becoming famous.

Although I have never heard of this actress before, I have heard of some of the shows mentioned Harry. I enjoyed your fine tribute to this talented woman who had renewed fame with Dancing with the stars and it is a shame she died suddenly after achieving so much.
