What a wonderful story-teller you are! Loved all the details and descriptiveness and how you made it impossible for me to stop reading till I reached the end. I love your humor as well. The story was already funny but you knew how to tell it to make it 10 times funnier. Truly an enjoyable read that stole many chuckles!

This is an excellent writing. I appreciate your style and the way you wrote this. To be a shopaholic is something that I have never been. However, in my later years it's really easy to buy something online which I do often. I truly wish as a child I had had a teacher that could write like you do and could encourage me when I was a young writer. But I went to school in a one room, school house, and the teacher didn't have much time to deal with just one student because she had all eight grades in the same classroom. As for my story, sadly, Younkers closed its doors about five years ago. How I miss that store, despite what occurred during my Christmas escapade. I still have my sweater, though! And I still love to shop!

Christmas shopping thus far this season has been without incident; maybe word is out on the street to be kind to old ladies with earrings dangling from their rear ends!
