Listen; it was cute, but the problem for was, it was in no way realistic: a) an operator would hang up almost immediately, b) if it's the caller's mom, surely she would recognize the voice, and c) how does one dial the operator and connect to the exact person you're looking for?
Sorry, my friend, but I have to give this four stars. It was fun and cute, but just doesn't tread close enough to reality to be taken seriously.

But, considering that there have been modifications to what has been allowed in this contest of dialogue only (ie: tag lines) I find it hard to believe you have taken such a hard stance. But that is your perogative as a reviewer and I must respect that. John

This was such good fun to read. Absolutely brilliant!
I could imagine the telephone operator getting more and more frustrated whilst also enjoying the humour too. The ending was great too, typical of son playing a prank on his mother. I loved it.
