Voices shall call us from the dark...they shall? Huh, imagine that. I would've never thunk it.
Will this soul of a man be judged by the heart of his partner?
If true, what outcome can benefit from this finding?...Well, it all depends upon what they find, doesn't it?
Would he stand as stone on principles
Or bend to the ever moving passage of age...Bend, he'd definitely bend.
Or live under the premise of whatever happens he will continue his journey
With the conflict of never finding peace,...Yeah, never finding peace. I can relate to that.
Good poem, GW.

To be firm on principle or yielding............I think at the end of the day ...if we can look ourselves in the mirror and like who we are... Rudyard Kipling ...If says it best .....aspirations......and real men and women ....

yes if we live to please everyone but ourselves
it can be a burden in our life's journey
what ever happens we must go on
hoping to find the balance in life
we must come to a equal equality to find happiness and peace within our spirit

A lot of questions are posed in this well written prose/poem. I love them. I know that I can partially answer them, and although the years have advanced I'm still not sure of some of them! I take it this is an old post! I found this to be profound, descriptively articulate! Well done, blessings, Roy.

Hi. Another poem to think about. i seem to be reading through all of these(I have been away for a while)...it is nice to read three at once, it has given me a real feel of atmosphere. i love the seaking of peace that runs as a sort of them.

Hi GW,
Perhaps, aspirations can't be realized or understood if one doesn't put emotions to the test during the journey.
It is my belief, that through adversity we gain wisdom.

This is writing about determination to reach what one is hoping for.
The writer is wondering if anyone who aspires for something will stand firm in his objective or give up as time goes by.
He is encouraged to understand what he is looking for and continue searching whatever happens. Otherwise, failing to do this he will live with regrets and a troubled mind.
