A very nice poem that really hits home. My grandmother passed away in February and it was very sudden. I luckily still have my mother, but I can only imagine your pain. Thanks for sharing this. Well done.

This is so lovely, Gary -
full of tenderness and emotion...
a sweet dedication to your obviously
much-loved Gran and Mum.

As I wander from time and space - might I suggest -
As I wander through time and space

The stars at night do whisper your names
My heart still carries a tear, - and here -
When stars at night whisper your names
My tender heart carries a tear. - Just ignore if not in agreement, my friend.

Margaret.

This is certainly heartfelt, if a little non specific. The second last line is lovely though I would remove "do" as it sounds a bit awkward.
Also

All the little things you would say and do
Made me happy, not so sad

seems a bit... odd? Obvious? If you are happy then of course you are not sad.

I like this very much, the saying goes "you don't know what you've got till its gone" so true when our love ones are with us we take so much for granted. A lovely photo completes a very moving verse. Enjoy your day, Anne

A heartfelt and reflective poem. I think often of my parents and ancestors, give thanks, and look forward to seeing them again someday. When I do that, it makes me feel their presence right in the moment, and I am comforted by their aura. Be well - excellent write!

I love your flow, and grammar doesn't bother me much. One editing note that should be an easy fix though:

>The final line (period instead of comma?)

Hello deepwater,
Your down home and personal poem was touching. Writings From the Heart is an apt title for this work. You did a very good job and paid a fine tribute to the memory of your mother and grandmother. May you feel them close to you always. Hugs, W ^-^

This is very touching and what a beautiful picture of your mom and grandma. I like it because it's sad but hopeful.

I love your last two lines:

The stars at night do whisper your names (no doubt)
My heart still carries a tear

Well done! B :)

This was a very sweet poem that I am assuming is in memory of your mom and grandma? It's a got a nice flow as well in the actual reading of it. What wonderful work.
