Hi Alaskastory,
I noticed that this chapter is written in the present tense first person. Are all the generations written this way? I am wondering. I started writing this way and was told to use past tense and third person. It was very confusing to change. For a while, I had mixed tenses. I now find that the third person past tense works well, too.
Here's one typing error:
"Dinner is warning(warming) on the stove, Donald," Mom says.

Thanks for catching this obvious oversight, April. I'm sure stories can be written in present tense or past tense and also in first person or third person. The choice is the authors. But being consistent in each story is the challenge. Thanks for reviewing for me.
