Hi Jlsavell,

How much I have missed your poetry! Been gone for a while, but I am back. You probably remember me, mtngalofnc. Though the screen name has changed I am still the same (mtnspirit)
Your poem is as beautiful as always and I particularly enjoyed the 3rd. Stanza. Sorry for your sons loss. Thank you for sharing.

The lines are so beautifully written in this poem-tribute in honor of your son's father.
"A beauty that perched its sun on your life's porch" is just one memorable line out of the many. I like the tone, rhythm, rhyme and especially the theme of chimes; the poem rings with love and hope even on this sad occasion.

Your imagery is fantastic. You touch every sense and every sensation. I almost forgot to check the meter, rhyme and reason. I was carried away by the flow of the theme from beginning to end. I only add, "Within the heart of Truth is the meaning of God to Man."

Definitely a fitting memory. I have wind chimes even inside of my house to catch the cross ventilation between the rooms. to hear a chime and think of a loved one is exquisite.

What a lovely way to remember a loved one who has passed on - a wind chime! Your poem told of the wonderful benefits its sound can bring - happy memories, the sound of his voice, the music of the beautiful place where he is now. Well done!
