A well written chapter. There has always been fighting among nations and I particularly like the Roman era' saga. However, the blatant killing makes me cringe, and I wish that the fighting would stop as of today. florrie

Thank you Florrie, for your review. The fighting in the story stops in the next chapter. I make no apologies for the fighting. For I am trying to depict how times were then. These people were born into fighting and trained from childhood.

We believe we are so 'civilsed' but just two weeks of starvation is all that separates us from them.

History fascinates me. As it happens I abhor violence... Mel.
