That's an interesting viewpoint on frustration. In some cases I can see where this definition would apply. However, there are others where it definitely doesn't. I.E. I get frustrated when I see the screen of my 13 year old Pet. III laptop start blinking it's screen on and off about a 100 times a minute. There are "no doubts" it is caused either by a loose connection, or perhaps either the display or the part of the system board which controls the video is going on.

What's frustrating is - it would cost too much to fix, and I can't afford a new laptop. JW :-)

I know what you mean. This was frustration with another person who to some degree has power (Or at least it is perceived that way) over me. I have spent the last 2 weeks in intense frustration. Hope your laptop holds up~Debbie

You really have 'frustration' down pat. It is something small blown out of proportion and then becomes a constant block to productivity.
Wonderfully said. You do free verse so well. This flowed smoothly and was easily understood.

Great poem describing how frustration can take hold of us and paralyze our very actions. I like the analogy of a small seed growing in the mind and in the end holding us hostage.

Written very well and I really enjoyed it after I read it twice and slapped myself on the head. I was not sure how to read it the first time due to your using first and second "person". I read it again and there it was! Excellent, clever piece of work. Kudos

Wow, you have definitely put into words how I feel sometimes when I am frustrated. Sometimes we let it get the best of us. This is very well written, well done!

Yes, that is frustration for you. You have managed to convey the futility of it all. It is a confusing and negative force. Well written. CG

Nice work.

On target! There so many trapped in this desolate hole of self doubt. Your interpretation was incredible.

Great job.

we all become frustrated at one time or another. we just can not make up our mind as to just what it is we wanted to do or say. it makes quite a hectic day boggles the mind to no end.

Hi Debbie,
this is a real threat to our sanity,as you know the only way to attack it is to live in the now. This is a very poignant write for a lot of people who are floating in the future of uncertainty, but the only thing we have is now. For going either way is to cause yourself anxiety. This is beautifully written and I hear you loud and clear. And it's always worse for people that have an accumulation of problems to deal with, but I like to rate them from 1 to 10, a death of a loved one being a 10, so you can see a lot of things don't even rate. May I suggest a great book to read; actually called The Power of Now by ECKHART TOLLE. A very powerful read and something I think you can relate too.
Kindest thoughts,
James xx
