I love the pics you find to go with your poetry, so fitting. I also like the way your works not only ponder the future, but question the past. If we don't do something now, why bother? Nicely done.

This is a very serious poem about how violent mankind is getting. It does seem like we're bent on destroying others and desimating the world. It seems like the answer to the last line is that we are headed for anothe ark if we don't start loving and accepting our neighbors as we were made to do.

I think this is the first non internal rhyming poem I have seen from you. It is well written. You do use a lot of words ending in 'ation'. Maybe that is your internal rhyme.

Keep writing

Joan

Very deep poem and I enjoyed reading. These are some of the most difficult questions, that we as a human race may never be able to answer. Your poem also relates to the current state of the world at present. I often wonder is this all a set up ? Will justice prevail in the end. Thanks, a good poem to ponder over and even discuss with others. Descriptive writing was well done and hit home to me some of my own ideas about life.

Good social commentary with the effective use of questions about our willingness to repopulate the world.
Well we will not be afforded the opportunity to rebuild the ark so we better shape up or we will have to ship out

The ark served its purpose. Its days are through. The ark of today is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is our only hope and He is more than enough..

Well done, Buck

I think I'd go for the ark. Love the poem, hate the font. I had to really struggle with the italics and what looks like 10 pt. font.

Still your poem was well thought through, intelligent and caring.

A thought provoking free verse poem.
Excellent picture to enhance your words.
Deep layers to unravel in this piece.
Well done.

A sobering writing artistically set down in
prose form as to what the world looks like
today, this world that has become global,
where one can no longer hide behind barriers
such as wide oceans or worlds on the other
side of the sun.
A commentary beautifully written that stokes
the coals of realization of what the world has
become.
Well done

Some very deep issues here.

What is the purpose of repopulation of a world that is committed to savage destruction.

This is so true, unfortunately, too much malice and hate out there for survival. Unless we get kinder, we are doomed.

Strong expression of wondering about man's survival and xgood questions of whose fault our eminent destruction belongs to. Emotive tone and good ending question with a biblical tone:)

You are welcome. And that's nice, my mom used to call me Don, or Donny sometimes, although my name is Donna. But I like DonnaDiann. Anything works though, ha:)
