It isn't about quality...

For one that wins these contest as often as you do, Mikey, I'd be careful of what I said, LOL... If not quality, then what? Popularity? Longevity and fan base? No, nope, that theory just doesn't fly because many contest are...ahem...blind entries.

So, one would have to argue that it is somewhat about the quality after all. Wouldn't they...?

Personally, I care about as much for free verse and sonnets as I do for spinach and broccoli. I can swallow it, but I don't have to enjoy it.

Good stuff, and I'm sure you'll most likely win this thing. Of course, it will be about the quality then, heh-heh...~

A nice poem and I love the picture. One question - doesn't the background have to be white? I had a good chuckle as I can see the Howling Reviewers circling the flock, throwing metaphors and comments all over the place.

This is great and I really enjoyed it quite a lot. It has variety and a cute but weird sense of humor That is often very variable In tone such a humor in a baroque sense of bantering.
It is quite Descriptive and expressive and its imagery
Especially when the wolf kills the lamb in sticks it in the smokehouse.
The poems a done veritably in specifically for the animals contest where both are done so-so but the Fox picks the one that has to juiciest author.

Thanks for finally posting, Mikey, though from your current runaway lead in the poll, I'm not sure I really mean that. LOL.

Love the theme of the cannibal lambs, and at least they love the relatives they eat.

'Bah Bah' sure seems to come off light after the wolf sunk its teeth into her head - maybe they were dentures without much grip. Oh, hang on - she dies in the end, but I'm sure made a tasty meal, so a happy ending after all. ;-)

Great fun entry that deserves to do very well.

cute. Love that the reviewers are wolves. Sheep eating sheep. Now that's just wrong. There are a lot of points to the Fan Story rating system , amusing, and at least you followed the guidelines.
