I'm more of a dog person myself, especially of the small breed varieties. But, we do also have cats, and my cat, Migga, is jet black and very lovable.

The love for your Samantha is clearly evident here. I think all pets hold a special place in our hearts, just as our family members and dear friends do. In reality, that's exactly what our pets are, too.

Well done, a very well written and error free story.

The story about Samantha was cute and almost any child would enjoy it. Your Samantha was a very well behaved and lovable cat. They seem to have more radical temperament's than dogs. We've had a couple wacky cats. They would not make a nice story for little children.

I see this has been entered as poetry - I guess that's just how the contest link worked.

It is a very clear and straight-forward account of your 'kitten' Samantha and some elements of her life. I put 'kitten' in quotation marks because most of the story is about her adult life - possibly something that will count against you with the voters...

I too can remember having a litter of kittens suddenly appear on my bed - what a surprise!
