Hi Patricia,
This is a really nice poem and the clock fits it perfectly as you're asking the Lord to help you wait on Him. You come up with some great ideas for your poetry and you write them very well. I haven't read a poem of yours that I didn't like.

Thanks Kat for the nice review. I felt the clock was a good photo to go with the work.

A wonderful prayer of supplication and one that unveils the unselfish nature of the author. though you ask for blessings you are willing to share with others.
an enjoyable read and strong message to those of us who may tend to be selfish

I wrote this as a prayer as I was waiting for the healing in my eyes. My surgery on the eye went well and the vision in the left eye is better than it has been in 5 years.

This was a lovely prayer in the guise of a poem. I was browsing through the FS reading material as time approaches to leave for church services and I thought this might be a nice prelude to get me in the frame of mind to let go of my worries and other stresses of the day. Thank you for bringing about a calmness in my heart through your written word. God has blessed you with a wonderful talent and you never fail to put it to good use. God bless you... Your friend, K. Lorraine

I am glad it was a good service. I hope my eyes will allow me to drive to church tomorrow morning.

Take care, especially if you are in any of the winter storm areas. I live in Florida, so it's sunshine and 80 tomorrow. I didn't mean to rub road salt into any open wounds. Have a good Sunday. K. L.

This is a supplication worthy of Mary Magdalene. What a strong and calming prayer to wake up to on this scorching Sunday morning in South Australia. May the Lord be with you today and always.
