Really you have written your own review in your notes. I liked the way the poem flowed easily, perhaps too easily for such an important message. The idea of the barn owl as a metaphor for all of nature, including mankind is a powerful one that I feel might have been better served by a harsher, freer style, but that is a matter of individual choice.

What a Wonderful World is my favorite song and can only be sung by Louis Armstrong. Beautiful, powerful, and deeply moving poem about the sad condition of this planet. You did a superb job conveying your fears and frustrations over our ignorance and agree, we all need to stop and face the reality of what we are doing.

Sorry I don't have a six for this one, Dawn. The tone of frustration comes through the speaker's words telling us that she is tired of seeing the world ignore God's plan, abusing his creation. Why does he let it happen? Because he gave us that dang old free choice and we humans tend to think we know better than Him. I feel your frustration and I agree we are headed the end if we don't wake up. But I do know that even in the chaos God is in control.

All the while we ignore the signs, it is not only the birds and animals that will become extinct, we will too. The terrible earthquake in Nepal. Thousands have died, and all the time we treat the Earth with disrespect, it will fight us back. This is a poem that needs people to pay attention to. Brilliant poem, my friend. xsx sandra

I think that man ceased to care a long time ago, I think it's all to do with a love lack Dawn. Man sins naturally, I remember one of our pastors preaching on breaking the law, he said if the speed limit was 60 mph he wanted to do 70, if it was 80 he wanted to 90 and so on! Well done, beautifully metered, beautifully written, with a descriptive language and great presentation, I think this deserves a six, but no sixes, well done, blessings Roy.
