Good ending! That'll teach him for stalking Alice. She's a survivor, that one. An axe, no less. I hope it wasn't just the mailman. LOL! :)

You got me again, clever lady. It's lucky the ax was nearby. The telling was so vivid. I felt like I was right there with her.

-Today, was the first snow. She walked in the woods alone [today](repetition), memories of her father in the forefront of her mind.
