I don't like bees or honey but Pooh bear does. Bees are alright as long as they keep their distance. I like your poem though and your meter is spot on. Good luck in the contest and thank you for sharing.

Great job. Best wishes for the Pen a Pic of Cleo85 contest. I like how each line in the stanza rhymes. Good job. In your first stanza you mention 'a string would be the death of me.' I am very allergic to honey bees so my husband had to get rid of his honey bees that didn't bother him at all. Nicely done.

Bees are valuable and are the key to our future existence. We protect ourselves from the bee's sting but we pay a lot of money for their precious honey.
