This speaks the Biblical tale that God makes rainbow as a symbol and gave mankind a second start to do what is right; poet thinks it more believable than a scientific explanation; I liked.

With good rhyme, though the meter is irregular, this poem flows smoothly enough and carries an important message still relevant today. Humanity needs to count its blessings and avoid the sins that needed to be washed away in the flood. You are right that the rainbow is both a promise and a warning. Well done, even without illustration.
