Usually, the heart beats faster when opposite sex is near, especially if there is a love interest.

Great use of word economy. I feel the romance, love and adrenaline rushing in this well-written poem.

The artwork complements your poem very well. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you for your kind review. I sometimes have trouble with the short ones.

I've read several of these entries today, maybe six. This by far is the best! The picture is amazing and the sentiment is awesome. Love is the key to everything. This must be the most loving Saturday I've ever seen on FanStory. There's so many steamy poems and love poems I need a cold shower!

Good luck in the contest!
Have a great day and God bless.

It's so very true when the opposite gender approaches, how the blood pressure increases, whoops, sorry, that's because I'm a senior! Well done, AnnieDawn, I'm being silly, great entry in this Lanturne poetry contest, good luck, blessings, Roy.
