Hey there, Trisha: This is a surprise! I came to your portfolio to find, "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not" and yet I bumped into this wonderful post. A poem about purple, my favorite color, well, one of my most favorite colors. This poem is remarkable. You should have entered it into the poetry contest. That contest that I entered, Two Boys Stabbed In School" into, it just required that you enter any poem, any form. It did not require any more than that. This poem would have done very well. Awesome! I wonder why I was not alerted about this post.

I seem to be having a problem finding that other story. I will go back to the portfolio and go to the next page. I saw it yesterday.

I love your take on this. These are your reflections as though you are lost in thought contemplating life as you immerse yourself in what is before you. You're a part of what you see, but it draws from you as well. It makes for a strong piece as the words and artwork go hand in hand. That's exactly what this type of piece should do. Great work. mike
