One gets even better than the other,. The picture is perfect and complements your poem perfectly. I loved the idea of snail farming. Get milked in the morning. Granny sells them to keep the bills on track. Then in a hall the butcher's axes fall. The next morning a million snails come back. It really goes like this. I remember Dutchie(Fia) had to dig them all out of her garden.

Lol. Entertaining one, Bill. I'm not sure you can milk a non-mammalian creature but there must be something that can be done with all that slime. Enjoyed the well placed aaab rhymes throughout.

i love the way you've written this - the meter and ending each verse with a rhyming word, It's catchy and clever, although I cannot imagine what brought the subject to mind. But for whatever reason, it's well written and humorous.
