Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem about how you imagine Heaven to be. I think those of us who have a relationship with Christ can imagine these things. I love to think about the life I will have in Heaven. Free from the aches and pains that plague me here, I'll be able to write Heavenly stories just for Him,

The time must be close, Helen wrote something this morning about the ancient boab tree which grows here in Australia, are dying off for no apparent reason, (I think it's man's collective sin) I don't think that day is far off now. A beautiful entry in this poetry contest dear Teri. A very well-written poem about the wonderful day we will see when Jesus come to lead us to heaven's gate. We cannot predict exactly when that day that will be, so it is better to be ready at all times.

Good luck to you in the contest! If ever a contest were tailor made for you, this faith themed one is it. Your poem is as honest as a soul can be with regard to your beliefs. I too believe in God, and heaven. I cannot "imagine" as clearly as you can, but my faith tells me it will be a better place.

We imagine alike. I've always wished He would come in my lifetime. Lot of people say it will be scary, but I don't think so. I picture it in my mind how beautiful it will be.
In the meantime, I know my loved one are there waiting, and they are whole, healthy, and happy. It helps with the grieving. I miss them, but I don't grieve for them. Why would I want them back from Heaven? That would be cruel.
