Yes I am extremely sensitive to Fall and Winter. Thanks for reviewing.

Your writing style is a treat to read. I felt that you kept on point throughout and your descriptive powers are excellent. We all have our favourite seasons, but you have expressed so well the up and down emotional cycle we feel in nature and its changes in weather
All the best

Hi, Alice. Good to see you post again. I don't think I have ever seeen a poem formatted exactly like this before. It is unique and the text is very moving to say the least.
Autumn's offering
playing on the doorstep
of my sanity"
Bravo! Wonderful writing, my friend. Bob

Thanks, Bob.
It is a haibun form. Combination of prose, title and haiku.
Comment from Joan E.
I don't often create haibun but it was the form for my most recent post as well--there must be something in the air! I admired your vivid description of the abrupt, emotional shift into Fall. Your "curling leaves" says it all! I liked your hopeful conclusion and wish you well for your favorite time of the year. I'm only sorry not to have six stars to award this evocative ensemble. Hugs- Joan

Thanks, Joan. Will gladly take a virtual six. I am supersensitive to both Fall and Winter transitions.

This was great! I love how beautiful your words were. So floaty and breezy. I admire your work. Magnificent use of your vocabulary. So eloquently put.

Thank you for the great review.

Your poem describes in an interesting way your feelings about fall, which are sometimes cheerful and often melancholy. I hope you are enjoying the last days of summer to the fullest before the gray November days arrive.
