What is Winston Churchill going to think of those additions to King George's portrait? Lol! I'd love to be a fly on the wall to hear the lecture Charles will be getting! Poor Mildred and Tommy, their relationship seems doomed.

Hello Sandra!
I smiled throughout this chapter for the characterization, plot, and dialogue. Very captivating. And of course, the cliffhanger at the end with Sir Winston was most appealing!
Well-executed, Sandra!
(Poor, Tommy... :( )

Thank you for sharing!

Well, there you go. You're building this story quite well I think. And I really appreciate that you're using a lot of dialog combined with action. This makes for a great story in my mind.
good job

Very well done Sandra, Poor Mildred is definitely in a proper dilemma in regards to Tom. It would be great if she was allowed to stay in that time period with Tom and have as Veronica put it- the chance to find happiness and love. I liked and enjoyed the plan that Gladys and Veronica have to stir up the admiral's office. And it was a great touch to have him show up with Churchill. A great chapter, hugs and smiles.

Wow, what a way to end this chapter. Hope the next one is coming soon! LOL! Don't know if it just did this when you posted to this site but check the paragraph starting with "The war office was bustling...." The space between paragraphs got omitted. This was a fabulous chapter. I so enjoyed reading it!

What an unfortunate thing for Mildred not to find happiness with Tommy, but perhaps the "powers that be" can do something about that, seeing she was brought back to life as a young woman.
The girls put glasses on King George V with curls on the eyebrows, and while they're giggling, who should turn up? but Charles and Winston Churchill, Lord of the Admiralty, wow! Great episode Sandra, good scribing, well done, blessings, Roy

Again, too short. Ghosts are kinda limited in what they can do, aren't they? I'd like to see them put all the furniture on the ceiling or something. That would really rock Charles. LOL
Haven't solved my problem with Char yet. I think it has to do with the template. Maybe I downloaded the wrong one? Did you complete your editing before or after using the template?

LOL!! There's me thinking it's toooo long for FS, but my regulars stick with me. Thank you so much for the lovely 6 stars, dear, I really appreciate them and your lovely review. :)) Big hugs, my friend. Sandra xx

Yes, I edited before I used the template because that can alter where the chapters begin and end. That will then mess things up which means, you have to start all over again. When you have completed it, don't forget to save it twice, once as a normal transcript and the second as a pdf. Send the pdf to KDP, it then will do a draft publish for you to check over again for any other errors before you click the final 'publish'. Any questions, send them to me on messenger, I'll pick them up and reply. :)) xxxx

Winston Churchill....Oh I remember the News Reels about our allies and He stood out from the rest. A true friend of America during the war. Mildred and Tommy are falling in love. What a pity. Now what are you going to do with that? I can't wait to see what Mr. Churchill will think of the picture. That was some devilish mischief, and it will make Charles look loony tunes for sure. Well done, Sandra. Nancy

Wow, Sandra this has quite the ending. So they are seeing Winston Churchill, no less. Poor Mildred, who can't have the life with Tommy as she really wants to. She's visible but she doesn't belong to the time she's been placed in. I feel so sorry for her. Brilliant as ever. You know, I love the story. A big hug. Ulla:)))

I enjoyed every single aspect of the item. The Author has paid particular attention to the language used and the words were chosen. Every single grammar issue has been resolved and there are no spelling mistakes. I would highly recommend this item to a friend.
