Wow! Beautiful words and picture(the position of the moon is perfect). I love the use of the word soars in the first line.
Thanks so much for sharing and good luck in the contest.

Very cool picture that fits your poem nicely. I wonder which came first - the poem or the picture. The moon is soaring but also framed by the branches and the soft skies do feel like it's embracing.

Hi Helen. I love that photograph and just had to use it. I am glad you liked the verse and the moon does look like it is being embraced. Thanks so much for the review.

Your words and the artwork suggest a lovely, peaceful scene. Quiet and still support the description of the setting. A pale moon would have a more calming effect, I would think, than a very colorful one. A beautiful time of day. This is lovely contest material, and best of luck. judi

Your words describe this artwork beautifully, "quiet seas-dusks still", an excellent presentation with the poem painting it's own picture alongside this photo, very well done and best wishes for your contest****kahpot

A very well-written fifteen syllable poem about the pale moon soaring over the quiet seas in dusk's still peaceful embrace. A great photo snapped at just the perfect time.

I don't know how you do it, describe something so vividly using so few words. I write huge paragraphs and still can't get across what I want to say. The poem is well-written, it paints a vivid picture in the reader's mind. Great job as always. Your artwork is gorgeous.
