I can SO relate to this. I was taught it was wicked to waste food and I also love most foods so I used to feel bloated quite often. Now I've learnt not to treat my body as a garbage bin. lol

A good thing you realize you don't have to clear your plate. Perhaps you can save it for a later meal? Good luck with your contest entry. I'm seeing an Italian mother behind your back, urging yo to eat!

I really enjoyed reading your 5-7-5 poem. Sadly I was brought up to finish all the food on my plate so I do and often feel totally bloated. I wish you lots of luck in the competition.

This absolutely, positively, and ably fills the bill with the syllabic requirements for a 5-7-5. It feels like this refers to an all-you-can eat buffet. Nice rhyme with 'ate' and 'plate.' I get some 'm' alliteration with 'more' and 'my' close together in line 3. Nice post!

This is a well done 5-7-5, my friend. It is so very true as well. Restaurants serve much larger portions than needed which is why people's weight continues to increase. Best wishes in the contest, my friend~Debbie

Inevitable feeling and effect after eating till full from what was on
plate, suggesting there was more on your plate than you could ever
eat at one time. When the plate is too full to start with, fullness
will reach its usual intake, no matter how much is left on plate.
Witty little food chaser, thanks for sharing..
Best of luck in contest!
Best wishes, Ronni
