This is a very nice post, Patricia. Your photos are lovely. You've achieved a lot and I'm so happy for you. This is my favorite sentence, though entire piece is uplifting and positive:

Hello Patricia. It sounds like you had a wonderful husband and he valued you as a life mate. I Liked your story of the honeymoon and your husbands comments. This is a wonderful story and I enjoyed reading it. He does use the foolish things of this world to confound the wise.

How wonderful that your husband saw you that way. With so many working now, the housewife-homemaker distinction isn't as important as it was back many years ago.
