A very moving and inspiring poem showing the greatest love that ever lived! Your words "hit the nail on the cross!" I am glad I decided to "get back" on to FanStory and read your very humbling poem. Love the cross over the butterfly too.

I could just cry!!!!!!! Tears of joy!!!!! At the feet of Jesus we have shared so much, my dear young friend. I am so glad we have this kinship and bond. It is a delight to see you over this poem or anywhere. Please send me your mailing address by private fan mail so that I may send you a signed copy of "What The Blind Girl Saw." I just published two weeks ago with Kindle Books on Amazon.com. I finished with the Finale and Epilogue this year on FanStory and went straight to publishing. My family helped me do this, and my husband and I designed the bookcover. :)

I can't wait to catch up. In the meantime, welcome back, and thank you so much for the awesome review and stars!!

Your "eye witness" account of the Crucifixion of Jesus and the resulting salvation of the soul is dramatically moving and deeply effective. I love the way it flows.

A very well-written faith poem about the journey of Jesus Christ from his birth to the cross where He died to give us the chance to be reborn and live with His spirit within us.

This is a beautifully written faith poem. It really does allow the reader to feel as though they too were present at the feet of Jesus. The understanding from his crucifixion - a gift of clarity and rebirth.

I have faith this poem will do well in the contest. ~DD

Thank you so much, dear DD. I really appreciate the excellent review of my faith poem. I've had the vision of this so many times, Id thought I'd write about it. My salvation is very real to me, as if I was there that day.

Sally,
I am very emotional after reading your poem. What I liked the most about it was you put us there at the foot of the cross, we watched the sufferings of Jesus, and you told the story in a very personal way-like it was me saying it too.
I always have a great sense of the guilt when I think about or see scenes of the cruxifixction, but also relief in being freed from sin by it.
Thank you for letting me be reborn with you this morning!
I feel wonderful!!
Much love and prayers,
Beth

Thank you, dear Beth. I am deeply honored but even more than this review, just knowing we share this amazing Savior and faith. My salvation experience was dramatic and I saw myself many times at the foot of the cross. I decided to write about that day. His love and sacrifice was and still is, the greatest act of love.
Sending you my best today as always on this wonderful day,

What a wonderful poem! A tribute to our Lord and Savior! How much He loved us that He was willing to give His own life so that we could have ours. And not even one of us worthy of His love. What a beautiful name it is JESUS! Thank you for sharing!
God bless!
Patty

Thank you so much, dear Patty. We can never praise Him enough and this one had been building for a while. I had to submit it earlier than planned. I'm glad I did. It was needed and I needed it more than anyone. I am blessed by your kind review, star blast, and affirming words of our mutual faith. It means so much to me.
Sending you my best today as well,

"Reborn", is an extremely well-written and delightfully descriptive piece. This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. To me, this is a six, but sadly I've run out of them. I look forward to seeing your next post.

This was beautifully written, Sally, and so full of emotion. That book, A Doctor at Calvary, sounds like a really good read. I love your final words, "The end of your life was the beginning of mine. My sins were forgiven,
and I left them there... at your feet. I had been reborn.

Beautifully written, Sally. Your lines read well, there is good flow, the image is a great pairing, but it is your message that stands above all. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Respectfully, Jan

A beautiful and well-written piece on the suffering Christ went through for our sins. God, the Father gave His Son so that we might live. There is no greater love than this.
Well done!
