I accidently wrote a review for a totally different story and posted it here. I hope I deleted it before you saw it and wondered what I was on about.
Isn't it funny how cats take to certain people? I really enjoyed reading about Zilla and Junior.
Take care
Judy

Thank you, dear Judy. Yes, it was catastrophic. (I just had to say that.) I'm delighted if this brought you some good cheer. Sending you my best today as always,

Love the little tidbits of humour you throw in, like raining cats and cats. They really set the tone for this piece and keep the reader engaged. I remember those filling stations fondly, too!

I guess Zilla had his own way of letting you know where he wanted to be. The cat who liked no one had a new friend. It must have been hard to part with him, tho. I don't think anything could make me part with one of mine.

This was very well written. I am more of a dog person, lol. I really like this story, and it sounds very much like real life to me. Great job with it.

I have only been the custodian of one cat and I found your story so believable. I relished Zilla's smiles and the kindheartedness of Abe. You selected a clever artwork as well. More smiles- Joan

Thank you, dear Joan. Yes, the art was perfect and has been used for a few of my Catzilla stories. I thought a new story was called for during my long stay at home.
Sending you my best today as always,
Sal xoxo

What a fun story, Sally. I enjoyed reading it. You did a great job with many details and great progression. I could see all of this unfold as I read it. I'm happy Zilla got a great home. Yes, kitties know who to trust and who likes them. I could see you and your husband tooling down the road as with Junior snoozing on your lap. Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

It's funny how people see this story so differently. I'm glad you understood and see that every cat has a place eventually. It's usually the cats choice though. Sending you my best today as always with many thanks. Sal xoxo

Oh, I love your Catzilla stories! How amazing that hospitality is - for a perfect stranger to over you food and a place to stay. That's like from Bible times! Must be southern hospitality. And Zilla found a someone, he can behave for! So many miracles!

Sally, I like the story that is written with such an easy-going, humorous style. It's amazing that you both stayed so calm with that stress going on. It sounds like God gave you favor to have you take care of the truck and get rid of that cat. Bill

I remover those days Sally, when the petrol stations actually cared for one's car, checked the oil, water, windscreen, and even the tyres if you desired, sigh. A lovely story Sally, I don't think I could make those trips anymore. Well done Sally, blessings Roy
