I like this writing about dealing with the frustration of this situation in some creative ways including writing about it. Great line about "going Quackers."

This 5-7-5 suite, Missing Momentum, has the right set up and gathers one's need to see and be part of the world with the needs of others. Neat.

Lisa May,
You look cool on your big motorcycle.
I like how your imagination and help toward other creatures is getting you through.
I liked:
Speed queen stops at home.
spinning my wheels, then stalled.
Watch ducks, and you are going quackers instead of them.
Fuel their flight, if you must be grounded.
And let your memory take you way.
I loved it!
Patricia

I loved your suite of 5/7/5s that declares your love for riding on your Motor bike, skilfully written, a really good set of 5/7/s my friend, Elaine and I have traveled to many countries, Europe, Asia and North America, so we agree with you dear girl, excellent job, blessings, Roy

Each of these 5-7-5s can easily stand alone. I have a motor scooter I am now able to ride as the weather is improving, but it's only for in-town driving. Still it gets me out for fresh air. "Fueling" the ducks for their flight is a great idea and a good metaphor for giving to others. Rod

Good morning, Lisaâ??ï¸?
Nice bike!
I like your poem, because I can relate to it. I am feeling a little stir crazy right now; I appreciate the out of doors much better now.
I especially like the metaphor of the second stanza about spinning your wheels. Life is at a standstill right now for most people, and you expressed it well.
Excellent poem, Lisa. Best wishes.
Cindy.

This is such a meaningful presentation. The photo, the poem, the Author's notes. I love your metaphor about the ducks. Yes there will be things to do and people to help after this fiasco.

That's a great photo. I can't see how a person can do much damage if they just want to go for a ride on a bike or in a car but I guess rules are rules.

I agree. I guess they think we might have accidents and need medical assistance that would take staff away from epidemic stuff.
-
True. I hadn't really considered that.

The 575 format is used brilliantly. I can see the hard work put into this poem and appreciate it. I enjoyed the poem, especially :"Here, spinning my wheels, life's highway is passing by." Doesn't it feel like that sometimes? Thank you for this. Well done. Respectfully, -January L.
