The imps sound quite a lot like young children. They can't be all bad, though, if they like blueberries, ha. Quite the image with their extra arms. Thanks for posting something definitely unusual from any other portrayal.

Such a fun story to read. It's been a long while, but coming back to it is like coming back to, well, to a beautiful garden. And Jerry's performance was rather amusingly over the top.

I was shocked to read Jerry, simply fell over and died... thank goodness he is okay. Shot was a muddy mess...I can almost see them covered in honey. My grandson would love this story if it had pictures. He is only 3 years old. Well done, Yvette, a very exciting chapter.

I love this story. I hope now that you're finished with school we will see chapters more often. These characters are delightful, and your descriptions create such vivid images. I can imagine those imps all covered in honey and mud. It laughed out loud when the first two imps wanted Archie to get them all wet too.

Do you think that something should be done with "the pink abomination"? Doesn't it need to be italicized or something? This is so interesting and well written. How do you do it? The kids will love it! Anyone will love it. The writing is wonderful for teaching the kids good punctuating, grammar, rhythm and flow, sentence structure, just by listening. It's better read to them since the elements would stick better that way. Like learning cadence. I love the way the appearances of the characters is revealed as the story is unfolding. Love the activity and expressions of the characters.
Nothing to improve. Except maybe, "their performance" to "this performance. Strong I think. More punchy. Sometimes pronouns are hazy.

Do you think that something should be done with "the pink abomination"? Doesn't it need to be italicized or something? This was a great continuation chapter, Yvette. I didn't think it was too long and I am so glad you didn't disrupt Jerry's performance. It was rather quick thinking on Archie's part to not only do the blueberry trick but also the water splash. Very well done, very much enjoyed, be safe, be well.

Yep, hooray for the summertime! :) ;) And hooray for those stars, my lady -- it really felt good to get the imagination working again in the world of fantasy instead of simply 'making it through' the end of the school year - ugh! :) And thanx for that catch there -- it has been handled (although not with honey spray, I'm afraid - lol!) :)
So far as our meeting, I'm going for the 'circling each other for while' and then 'deciding to team up against the rest of the world' LOL! (wink, wink!) ;) :) Oh, and then? Look out world!! ;) :)

I wish that I had three sets of arms to applaud your characterization in this chapter. Thank goodness Jerry did not die. I'm liking those imps. They are probably my favorite of your characters. It would be interesting, in the future, if their multiple arms and legs could exhibit opposing or conflicting personalities--for instance, upper arms praying and lower arms forming fists. Just an idea. Something in your text made me think you were going to do that and I thought at the time, "Now that's cool."
I love how you ended the conflict with the imps playing in the sprinkled water. Just charming. I'm out of sixes so you will have to take a virtual one for this good chapter.
