This is beautiful and inspiring! It's difficult to capture any solid message in this few words, but you've found a way. Well done, and I love the accompanying artwork, as well!

Dearest Sally, This should be true of most people. I feel sorry for people that hang on to troubles or their anger at the end of their day and find it hard to go to sleep at night. I live by your poem... I sleep like a baby! God bless you. Hugs! -January L. :)

Very sound advice and written poetically too. When it is time to sleep, that is when the mind is emptied of all the thoughts that disturb sleep.

Great job with this fifteen syllable poem and best of luck to you with the Contest Committee. :))

Amen to that! We need to jet it all go at the end of the day. Tomorrow will arrive with its own baggage. Let's get some well deserved rest...with some relaxing music.

Sally, exceptional 15 syllable poem. The sky is beautiful in the photo you provided, reflected in a crystal blue lake. I should take heed of your words. My dog and I need nighttime sleep. Lol. Have a wonderful week, Sal.
Good luck in your contests.
Blessings,
Cindy

Eckhart Tolle would love this poem. He, for me, specializes on helping the mind to stop chattering so we can sleep. What a give to live this poem. If we could look at ittheway you describe it. If we could resolve that we will not let anything disturb us. It reminds me of the Prayer of St. Teresa of Avila

Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things are passing away:
God never changes.
Patience obtains all things
Whoever has God lacks nothing;
God alone suffices.

Love that poem! Especially the line, whoever has God lacks nothing. A wonderful reminder in these days and times.

It flows very well and each line compliments the one before it. It also says a great deal with just a few words. Love the artwork and the video. All three combine to give a great message.

Your words have meaning and give good advice about letting go of everything and then sleep will be peaceful. You say much in three lines and did well with fifteen syllables.

A very beautiful presentation Sally. The picture is so beautiful and the words fit so well. Thank you for the link to the Photos of Clouds and the very peaceful music in this video, that personifies your message.

Here's a hug...Ralf
