Somehow I didn't get the personification of love by your poem. To me, it was more about silliness. It's a good poem, though. The picture is weird and kind of funny.

Hi there, Gypsy. I thought by naming him Lovey Man with the word ..love.. in the moniker, that it was personification. Maybe I have it wrong??? Thanks for the comments.

The way I see it, you personify the feeling of love and most people are using adjectives that start with the same letter...lovey love... And give it a personality.

It's a lovely poem which shows how love cheers you up. The personification works really well. Excellent use of internal rhymes as well as end rhymes. This flows really well. Fine presentation as well. Good luck!

this is a cute poem, with a happy, fun premise, but what is the specific emotion? He's funny and he helps you by making you laugh, but Lovey Man, to me, doesn't describe an emotion. I'm just curious, not being critical.

Hello... the prompt seemed to suggest that we use an emotion in the character?s name and I used Love as the emotion, but twisted it to Lovey. Perhaps I should explain that in the notes. Thanks for the comments.
