It's truly sad, that this poem-and your author notes have to be so very true. The news is always talking about these riots, of the upcoming election, they often forget to mention the innocent lives lost due to all of the hate and violence in this world.
You shine a light on this, and the consequences that come with it.
Your poem, as sad as it is, is an eye opener. I wish more people could read it.

A very well-written Septolet poem about one of many innocent children that became the victim of stray bullets from rioters. The most devastating thing is that there us no outcry about this monstrous deed.
