Hello anon, a well chosen subject for the contest. Indeed, what would we do without nurses. Some of the tasks they are expected to undertake are so trying and it takes a special person to do the job well. Good choice and good luck in the contest. Warm regards Dorothy x

Hello fellow writer, a terrific day to you. I enjoyed your poem, it had a nice flow to it and the rhymes were good. I think you did a great job on the contest entry, good luck. It's a shame it takes a pandemic for most of the world to start appreciating the essential workers.

Nurses are indeed Angels sent from heaven and my friend was a dedicated nurse for years and she cared for the sick and dying and it has made her had empathy for others, a fine write, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

This is a really beautiful tribute to nurses! I have known several in my life, some good, some not so good. But the good ones make life so much better, they make nursing seem like a role fit for angels, which you've so poignantly made clear.
