Wow, the emotions scream from your pen and the computer screen. I feel your lost, dear poet. For me, the poem may be re-formatted, but you, as the poet, knows how it should be read.

What a marvelous poem. Every line a gem. The imagery is so strong and is woven with such skill into something that means as much as the love you so cherish - the sea. A very sensitive poem with moving words and a special cadence that makes the reading enjoyable:
"will you stay with me?
Or run for the shelter of the near shores,
That voice always calling your name.
If I dare show you my heart, will you cherish the passion it would bring?
Or slowly destroy the life within with promises that will never be,..."

This is a great love poem which tell us how insequure we feel when we love, nothing can be taken for grant but just feel it is a miracle.

Beautiful picture and words. I hope to spend a working vacation seaside next week. Unfortunately I live near the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. If I do get to go I hope to spend some time at water's edge to see what the lapping waves speak to me.
