This is a really good piece. I know the feeling you convey only too well. It's sad that we for the most part are so afraid of love. We want it more than anything and when we have it we run away from it. What is that?

The poem stands out greatly, mainly because of your word phrases. I felt great emotional power--such as anguish, bliss, anticpation and love.
One puntuation problem:
Are you: my love, my life, my soul mate?>>this would flow well if you were consistent with this style of writing poetry. As you switch styles, the colon should be taken out.

This piece is very moving and touching. You've incorporated queries and statements that come naturally when love is lost. It flowed very well and carried me through the lines very smoothly. Excellent.

Winds of change can be friendly
Increasing the passion
Kindled by a deeper love, untrendy
Change is not always bad, just different
Well done, Buck

I am beginning to see that you are a very prolific poet, Deepwater. This one is very well-written and has superb imagery. I like this in particular:

"Like ripples betraying still waters, will you stay with me?" Bravo! Bob

Wonderful poem, I love the way you use water for emotions, this flows well, has a beautiful meaning and leads the reader right where you want them to go.

fI dare show you my heart, will you cherish the passion it would bring?

Or slowly destroy the life within with promises that will never be,

When I fall will you extend your inner spirit to catch my worthlessness

I think this is so beautifully written. nicely done
