Vivid--I'm wincing at the sight of Tania's swollen face, and cringing at the sound to her sandpaper voice. Please let her have more water! Touching and intense interactions among the three, masterful incorporation of Grant's self-assessment. (hyphenate kick-boxing)

CONGRATS ON YOUR PRIZE SANDRA!

I may have to take him back...

I can't wait for this to be published my amazing friend...

LOL, this muse is quite happy doing what he's doing, but he did say he'd pop over to have a holiday with you! :)) I wish I could!
Thank you so much for another pretty golden 6 stars and another of your wonderful reviews, that has me laughing my socks off! I needed that. My voice is cracking up, some think that is a good thing! lol.
I love that part about the drive through, that was soooo funny, lol.
As for the Story of the Month!!!!!!!! LOL! LOL! You have to be kidding me! I can only say that, it can't be that satisfying when you win by cheating.

Right, our Prime Minister is just starting to talk to let me know if I can go out to play! So I'm off to listen. Love you such a lot, my dear friend. Take care, keep safe and watch the slippery roads. :)) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sandra xxxx

you can be the only one to say it....but you better believe...the ones asked to cheat...know it...and so do so many more...
it's a shame Sandra...when someone so talented thinks the only way he can win...is to cheat...shows he doesn't have much faith in his talent to write...and doesn't believe he can win without cheating...truth be told my amazing friend...the win looks great on paper...or net...but unless the cheater is completely knocked out cold...he knows in reality he lost...sigh...

so on to my holiday date with your muse...does that mean I should put out a couple of more bananas at dinner??...hmmmm...maybe banana cream pie
for desert...if you have any good banana recipes...let me know...

now...did that Prime Minister of yours...let his people go...????...OK!!! I'm off of here...I have to many things to do...later you...words spoken to the grandkids...love you sooooooooo big...higher than the sky... now picture me reaching to the sky...biggerest smiles back at you...Linda xxoo

That was a great continuation chapter, Sandra. It was wonderful that Tania was on the mend. After only two days she was awake enough to appreciate where she was, that Monica and Grant were there. However now she wanted to know where Colin was, she feared where he was. Grant was there to protect her and save her. Great job, I am truly enjoying it. Take care, hugs, smiles and blessings.

Poor girl, yes the physical injuries will heal, but the emotional trauma could be long lasting and much more long term damage, but do I smell romance in the offing, because Grant has a few issues of his own to deal with. Beautifully written again dear Sandra, well done, blessings Roy

Grant and Tania are going to be a help to each other, even though they don't realise it. I do like a bit of love and romance! :)) Thank you so much my dear friend, for this lovely review. Sending my love and warm hugs. :)) Sandra xxx

Great chapter. You've managed to keep the tension and the action alive even after the rescue. Well done. Also, the way Tania wakes up and remembers things a little at a time is very realistic. Well done.
One small thing. This sentence is a bit wonky:
"Due to her only relative, of sorts, was her foster-sister, the doctor had told him the full facts."

Sandra:

That's the thing about this kind of trauma - that post-traumatic part creeps up on you when you absolutely expect it the least. Ironically, one would think it would only happen when you are tired or ill, but it can be triggered even when you are at the top of your game. Looking forward to the next chapter.

You did a great job with this chapter, Sandra. I'm so happy that Tania is going to be ok. I do believe Grant is falling in love with her. I believe he liked her from the start--the way she stood up to him that first day. I see more info forthcoming on Grant's mother. Hopefully, he will no let the past affect any relationship that may develop between himself and Tania. Your words are well-chosen, descriptive, and add to the story perfectly. Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Aw, thank you, Jan. Everyone can see a romance coming, and you might all be right! Lol. Both he and Tania have a lot of emotional baggage to sort out. We'll see how it goes. Thanks again, my friend. Warm hugs. Sandra xxx

What an ordeal this poor girl has been through! It's amazing she's still alive. I hope they hang Colin. Of course, I've seen a romance in store for Tania and Grant from the very first. Refresh my memory, please. Exactly what did Grant's ex-wife and his mother do?

Thank you so very much for your lovely review and the shiny sixth star, Yvonne. You will find out about the ex-wife shortly while Grant is still struggling to come to terms with his new-found feelings. His mother dumped him for another man when he was 18months old. That's when his grandfather became his legal guardian. Even though he tried to bring her back into his life after grandfather died, she didn't want to know. So, he's not happy with her.
Grant is now discovering feelings he hasn't had for a long time, and they are directed at Tania. What are her feelings, though?
Thank you again, my dear SATP, sending you lots of love and hugs. :)) Sandra xxxx

I am so happy to know she has been found and she will be okay. Colin would have killed her if she hadn't been so strong. It sounds as though Grant is in love with her and he will be sure she is well protected in the future but of course she will always fear just the thought of Colin. Well done, Sandra. Nancy:)

Thank you so much, Nancy, for another of your fabulous reviews, and a humongous hug for the six stars! What with Grant's sudden realisation of his feelings for Tania, and Jeff's for Monica, it's going to get quite interesting soon! Sending you lots of love, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

A other fine write, dear Sandra. I looks like,e healing may come in waves for Tatia. It's difficult to consider the consequences that may have come to her because of this awful beating. I certainly can understand Grant's anger. I hope he keeps his head about him.

One small typo:

"I tried Monica." Monica is misspelled. (It happens to all of us and easily fixable.) ;)

Sending you my best and blessings always,
Sal XOs....

Thank you so much, Sal, for another really lovely review, and the golden sixth star! It's the mental side that will hamper Tania's recovery for a while. But perhaps Grant might be of some help!?! Thank you for picking up the typo, my friend! Warm hugs, :)) Sandra xxx
