Hmmhh. An interesting end to the episode, there's no turning back from here, their fisrt kiss, combine thst with what his nasty mother, Colin, and this Rapier cove are planning and you've got a red hot series on your hands, how will this pan out? Great episode, you penned the love scene well Sandra, well done, blessings Roy,

Yes! The romance starts! I loved the way you described it all. I wonder if Jeff wanted to hint to Grant that there were other things going on in England without breaking his promise to Monica. He seems too smooth and cool to stutter and change the conversation.
Wondering how this criminal will work into this story. How in the hell do either of them know a shady character like Rapier? Are they truly trying to have Tania and most likely Grant murdered? You have me intrigued! Have a lovely week! As always I await you next chapter! Sally

Yes, romance, everyone has been waiting for this to happen. I've had one male reviewer state that it would when he read the first part! Men are quite softies, aren't they? Lol. Yes, Jeff didn't like keeping Grant in the dark about Monica being let go at work. But, things are going to change soon. Now, is Colin and his mother trying to kill Tania and Grant off? I haven't found out yet. I'm waiting for Reg to put his bugs in the house so we can listen in. So frustrating not knowing, isn't it? Lol.
Thank you so much, dear Sally, for this fabulous review and all the stars. I do appreciate you a lot. Sending you a big hug, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Great chapter - lots of intrigue and romance woven together. Nicely done.
My only suggestion is to separate Tanya's point of view from Grant's more. Its the head hopping thing. We're seeing most of the chapter through Grant's eyes and suddenly we're in Tanya's and then back in Grant's again. I suggest a line or two of space before see Tanya's thoughts: ...I should move away. Don't encourage him... You'd have to work with the last 2 sentences which seem to switch back into Grant's head - perhaps she could see or sense his feelings.
Its a small thing, though. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this.

You are right! I never noticed that I'd done that there, I'll be going back to sort that out. Thank you so much for mentioning it, no one else spotted it. And a big thank you for the lovely review. I'm delighted you enjoyed reading this part. Sending you a humongous hug, my friend. Sandra xxx

Well, neither have any doubt about they way each feels. I hope they get Latifah to a safe place before it's too late. This Rapier sounds really vicious. Hopefully, they can manage to bring it all around to catch his mother, Colin, and Rapier before they kill someone. Great imagery in the garden. Whew!

I do like a bit of romance, and they are both attracted to each other. I just had to give them that push. Lol. Thank you so much for the lovely review and that golden sixth star, it is shiny, isn't it?? Now, what is happening in England? Warm hugs, my dear SATP, I've sent you an email. :)) I was gobsmacked with that elephant! :)) lots of love, my dear Yvonne. Sandra xxxx

-An excellent chapter, Sandra,
that moves things along, including
the sparks that have been between
Tania and Grant.
-An extra star for that!
-I sounds like plans are moving
forward with plans to bug, what I
assume is Marilyn's home where
Colin is also staying.
-That is liable to have a few tense moments.
-But the best part is the last half of the chapter!
-Well done; here's to Grant and Tania!

I see there is still of lot of danger in spite of being so far away on an island. The is leading to a strong romance between these two but both of them are guarded not willing to allow themselves to let their passion overtake reason. I can't wait to see what may happened next. This is a book I'd probably stay up all night to finish is I had it all.

This chapter is well-written, Sandra. I like the way you infused the feelings both Tania and Grant have for each other amidst the knowledge of what is happening--esp with the one known as Rapier. I knew his mother was up to no good, and that is more serious than I believed. You described how that one got his name well--great imagery for a despicable person. I like how you discussed moving Latifah to the mainland despite her protest. It will be interesting to find out how that turns out--whether she goes or not. You are right about the dogs protecting Tania. They know instinctively that they are needed wherever she is.

May I suggest ~
Peter chuckled. 'I like Shadow. He spooked me out the first time you brought him here. But once I'd got ( gotten) used to him I found him to be an okay guy. OR But once I got used to him

Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Thank you so much for all your nice comments on this part, Jan, I really enjoyed reading your thoughts. Lots still to come.

I remember a few chapters ago another reviewer mentioned me using the word, gotten. I decided to take a look. Gotten is an American word, we don't have it in UK English. I have to say, though, I like the sound of it, and believe it will be brought into our English language soon. We generally do copy you at some point. :))

Thank you again, my friend. Sending you a warm hug. :)) Sandra xx

Finally, they submit to their long pent-up feelings and dare to relish the feeling of love. It is hard to resist when the aura that envelopes every meeting, exposes itself suddenly. These two were meant to be a couple.

Awe, Sandra, this was such a romantic and passionate chapter. They are falling for each other and seriously so. Can't wait to see where it all leads. Meanwhile, the danger is far from over, and plans are made to find out what exactly is going on. I can't wait to be reading on. I love the story. A big hug. Ulla xxx
