Never can tell what's going to turn a good person into a murderer, now can we? Tania's life was jeopardized but then so were Latifah's and the new baby. Really a powerful scene with Tania making the gardener think before killing and of course, our hero arrives to save the day. Peter let the cat out of the bag about Grant's love, but of course Tania didn't take it seriously... Hurricane must have turned everyone's brains into mush lol... or is that love that does that?

I believe this and the delivery of the baby were your best chapters yet. Now Grant's got to figure out how he keeps everyone safe and the team fights the bad guys. Awesome!

Smiles and hugs, my friend...Keep up the tension. I love sitting on the edge of my seat. Carol

I've often wondered if I would be capable of murder if someone threatened my family. I hope I never have to find out. Thank you so much, Carol, for this really lovely review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed these last two chapters, they did take a lot of thought and not a little research on Google. Thanks for that, and a big hug for the six stars, dear friend. Warm hugs back to you! :)) Sandra xxx

The plan to kill Tania has failed and all hell is breaking loose. The team will arrive and they will go back with them to London for the final faceoff.
Let us hope the new plans will succeed.

Who injured José? I didn't understand that at all.
Luckily Grant showed up in time to save them. So now they have to leave before something else happens. How? The Hurricane is still blowing and no one is going anywhere until it is done. Good job. Nancy:)

Hi Nancy, thank you for this helpful review, dear. I should have written that part clearer. I have now and this is how it reads.

The next second, she saw Grant come up behind the man, swinging a large china jug and smashed it onto his head. The man gave Tania a startled look before he collapsed into a heap on the floor.

No, no one can go anywhere until this hurricane moves on. Once that happens they will be able to go back to the mainland. Everything will come to a head soon. Thanks, my friend. Warm hugs. Sandra xxxx

Just when I think the story might be slowing down, then you ramp things right back up into a frenzied murder attempt on Tania, in the middle of child birth and a tornado. LOL. The action never stops. Thanks for sharing. :-)

Your stories are always great, and I do feel like I know you pretty well after all this time. Enough that every hug, kiss, and kind word reassure me of how lucky your friends and family are to have such a special lady like you in their lives! Ric XOXO

Aw, Ric, that is so sweet of you. If we lived closer to each other, you'd have a real hug! It's me who is the lucky one, though, to have so much love in my life, and that includes my dear friend across the pond. xxxx

Dear Sandra, congratulations on winning book of the month. I took a break from FS but am back now. Got to catch up on reviewing.

Another great piece of writing. This one I couldnt stop reading.. the plot is impeccable with the unexpected twist. The fear, actions, reactions and surroundings described here following the entrance of our villain here are so on point. You manage to grip the reader with in depth emotion described almost as if you went through the same. It is as great as a live experience. Wanna read more as usual..

Well done my friend!
Cheers,
DJ

I could hardly breathe! Oh my... as if having a baby during a hurricane wasn't enough. This is was a real mail-biter for sure. I was realieverd at Grant's quick response. I supposed it was Rapier's doing in the end. Sending you my best today with six stars!
Blessings dear,

Not sure about this take. Might wish to think about using a different reaction and wording, but it is your story, and I am sure you thought about that before calling it a draft. As always, you are an excellent novelist, and we all can use a makeover ever so often.

Hi Chuck, thank you so much for the six stars and for your comments. I had a problem writing this part, mainly because I was told it didn't come across as natural as if it would do in real life. Men swear when they are panicing. But I can't write that sort of word so just put the first letter. I don't know whether I'll even do that after I've finished the final edit. Any way, thank you for reading this part, my friend. I did appreciate your comments. Warm hugs, Sandy. xxx

That was certainly a surprise! Hired the gardener of all things. Too cowardly to carry out his own orders. Poor Jose and his family. I hope they get to Anna and the children in time. All this tragedy over a copied blueprint. 8-(

Wonderful chapter.

Aw, thank you, dear SATP! It's always the silliest things that start the biggest problems, even wars. I think Grant will be on it as soon as he can now he knows what's going on. I'm sending you a humongous hug, dear sister, and lots of love for this lovely review and all the stars. I'm sorry I'm so late replying, I'm still sorting out the move. Does it ever end? Love you lots! :)) Sandra xxx

I was not expecting an employee of Grant's would turn on him. But it it's understandable given the horrible situation he was put into. I don't think he would have actually killed Tania because he wasn't a killer, he just wanted his family safe. He also would know that swift action by Grant could have cost him his own life. Not by death but life in prison. I think Tania could have talked him out of the knife too. Tania is one tough cookie. She just keeps on being a hero! But it's not Grant's fault that his brother is a scumbag either. At some point I'm sure Colin and his mother would have done something else to take down Grant. Tania was just an easy target for him to use. I'm sure it will be quite satisfying when we see them pay for their selfishness. Grant's mother especially because who walks away from their child and then acts like she did nothing wrong? So much to look forward to! I hope your unpacking is moving along smoothly. Have a wonderful week! I'll be looking for next Sunday's chapter. Take care, Sandra! Sally

You are spot on, Sally, what Rapier doesn't understand, not everyone is a killer regardless of the threat hanging over him. The poor man tried, but there is no way he could follow through. Grant will hopefully be able to sort it out if his team get there in time. Sometimes it's good to have your own private jet!!!! Lol. Thank you so much for this lovely review, my friend, and the six stars. Lots of love, Sandra. xxxx

A truly action-packed episode. I did wonder what weapon was used to fell José without causing permanent damage. It would presumably have fallen to the floor after it struck him.
