There is one loose end to tie up, that of Grant's former cleaning lady as being the tie in to the connection between who was responsible for disclosing the whereabouts of Grant and Tania. And it also seems that Rapier has sung about Grant's mother giving him £500,000 for the murder of Tania, but it seems they have enough to put Grant's mother away. A fabulous episode. Sandra, blessings Roy

Yes, there is. Grant will be seeing Glady's next time. Thank you so much, Roy, for another lovely review. I always appreciate your kindness. 2 more parts, and an epilogue. :)) Warm hugs, my dear friend. Sandra. xxx

This was a good read. I will backtrack and read the missed chapters. Please let me know when you are posting. I believe Bob Hartson (Mastery) may have passed on so one less prose writer to read. No spags.

Yes, Bob has died and joined so many others who have died recently. So sad we are losing a lot of the best writers. Thank you so much for reading this part, my friend, only 2 more and the epilogue. But, my new novel is spinning around in my head waiting to be written! Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

This is moving right along toward a conclusion, I am thinking. By the way, did anything ever happen about that "bug" that Grant's men had fly through the open window of his mother's place? Will that play any part in the ending? Or will it be something to weed out when you edit this for market?

Here are some thoughts as I read along:

to have them all under one roof, rather than dotted around [I don't know why I fancied you'd have used the British-y "dotted about". That's what I would have used, but only after looking over my shoulders to see if any of my American writers might have thought I was putting on airs, LOL.]

"Do me a favour, call Reg, he's staying at my place with the others." [Oh-oh! Once I get a bug in my head I don't easily let it go.]

giving him enough time to get inside his mother's house before the arrival of the police. [Wow, that's risky! I'm sure the Commander didn't have that in mind.]

You are the only one, so far, who has remembered they left the wasp bug in Marily's house. Well done! There is always a reason for these things. Lol.

Dotted around - dotted about - dotted all over the place, are all used equally.

Thank you so very much for another wonderful review, Jay, and for that fabulous gold star. Sending you a humongous hug, dear friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Another fine chapter that is bringing the story to its conclusion. The USB and other evidence along with Rapier's cooperation should finally get Grant's mother, in the end. Now, Gladys seems to be a bit suspicious.

Yeah, that sounds a bit strange about this Gladys, doesn't it? Something is not quite right there. Well, so they are are now safely back in London. I just wonder how safe that really is. We'll wait and see. Ulla xxxx

You'll find out what happens in the penultamate part next week! It's already written and now I'm writing the final part. Then I'm taking a short break. I'm shattered!! I've had such a lot going on these last few months. Thank you, my friend, for another of your lovely reviews. Warm hugs, Sandra xxxx

I'm glad Grant will be there when the police come a-knocking. I would hate to miss the action as well:) We can guess that Gladys was blackmailed in some way by Rapier. I'm sure it will be heartbreaking and add to out genuine dislike of him. Looking forward to the mother and Colin's ending, I know it's fiction here, but there are women that abandon their children and I just don't know how they can do that. Men do too, but a woman has that special bond of the nine months before birth, but even in the animal world mothers will reject their young if they have an abnormalities, or just not have motherly instincts. It's a puzzlement to me.
Have a lovely week, Sandra. Have you been able to give Scout her book yet? I hope so.
Till the next time, hugs and good wishes to you! Sally

I've never been able to understand how a mother can not love her child above all else. I would give my life up willingly for my sons and grandchildren. And any woman who harms her child is beyond doubt a monster or insane. I can't understand fathers who do it, either.
Thank you so very much for this fabulous review, Sally, and that sixth golden star! Next stop over to see Gladys. Almost at the end now, Sally, it seems such a long time ago Tania flipped her lid at Grant, lol. Warm hugs, my dear friend. Have a lovely week. :)) Sandra xxx

I sense the end is not too far away, unless you have a sudden twist in the tail planned. It did occur to me that someone of the psrty might have had drugs planted on them which would be discovered on going through customs. Just the romantic bit with the wedding bells to come IK suppose.

No, I've already written the next part and I'm writting the final part now. There will be an epilogue. I never used to like those, but I'm noticing more authors are these days, and it will be useful to me to do one. Like you, my chapters are a good length. Thanks so much for the sixth star, I really appreciate it. We'll get another chat soon. :)) Sandra xxx

I still feel uneasy about his mother and Colin. I don't think taking them down will be as easy as everyone seems to think. I feel like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, but I'm eager to see what his mother is like.

I don't think Mother will be too happy about it! Lol, Colin either. Thank you so much, dear Yvonne of mine for that golden sixth star. Your the best sister in the whole wide world!! Love and hugs! :)) Sandra xxxx

-You didn't disappoint with this one, Sandra.
-A good beginning as we get to see
how Rapier is acting, and he doesn't
seem very concerned!
-I guess Grant has a very nice, luxury apartment.
-Everyone will be nice and cozy together!
-Interesting conversation with Lorna, and
we learn about a new character, the cleaner.
-My guess is that Marilyn knew her circumstances
and her sister's health, and offered her a big
chunk of change to rat on Grant and Tania.
-I like the ending and how Grant manages
to get to be in on things with his mother.
-I wonder what he plans to do when he
gets there because I would assume she is there,
and we don't know where Colin is, either.
-You have given us a big mystery that I
am sure will be wrapped up soon!
-A good job with this one, my friend.

Thank you so much, Pam, I'm smiling at all your thoughts, and I'm not saying a word! I've already finished the next part and I'm half way through the final part. Then it will just be the epilogue. I'm over the moon that you have enjoyed this book, I hope you will like the last two parts. Thank you for the sixth golden star!! It looks so pretty. Love and hugs, my dear friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Superb story and involved plot. The mom will hopefully be taken down along with Rapier. The maid knows too much as they always do. Poor lamb, I hope she's gets to the police. Staying tuned! Sending you my best and six stars from the sea,
Sal XOs...
