Scott just gave Shannon a reputation she isn't likely to live down for a while. Scott strikes agan. LOL I'm surprised that Sarah didn't go ahead and pick that big tomato before the raccoon got it and let it ripen in her kitchen. If he made up that story to discourage Sarah, it will probably come true. Raccoons love to pull tomatoes off the vine.

LOL The sign Scott put up was just wrong, but funny. We have numerous overweight racoon in our neighborhood that like to examine our trash. I can see one helping themselves. Once again thank you for sharing this
wonderful story.

Well you certainly gave me a buncha chuckles. The construction crew, Shannon and the poster are very creative, and I don't imagine Sarah will want tomatoes that have been pawed over, and maybe peed on, by a raccoon.
hank off a hunk, -- hack?

Welcome. I think all fiction has elements of real happenings.

Geez! What a WAY with WORDS! Only Scott, I fear, would have this unfortunate (but very funny) scene play out! Never quite sure where you inflated with your trademark humor what is almost always a true story...
either way, love the way this reads...
My brain is addled (by legal drugs I hasten to add!)--so I did not quite catch who Shannon was in relation to Sarah--I may need an little help with that, in your reply...
Either way, funny stuff! What's not to love?
(Except Raccoons--who are cute but a pain in the bushy tail)

a thank-you for letting the crew stash their lunches all these months during bridge construction out back. [Sorry ... and the reason for his getting the banana bread's not even important, but I don't understand where he was letting them stash their lunches. In his fridge?
Ahahahaha! But the fact that Shannon gave him the dessert WAS important! That's a funny story!
