What a miracle of a story. A person can get so attached to a pet, such as a dog. Vets are so kind toward them; even when they become ill and need surgery. So glad your pet lived. My dog had two mouth surgeries; he has been gone for nine months/although he passed of old age/hip dysplasia.

Hip dysplasia is such a painful disease. My great dane had double hip dysplasia and bilateral ACL tear. It's nice to hear he still lived a long happy life!

Wow, what a wonderful heart thrilling story. Every time you mentioned another surgery, I expected the next line being, and he died. I was nearly teared up when you said he was fourteen. God bless the little pooch.
